The Department of Education was established in the year _______taking ______ number of students as pass subject. The department has been serving the student community of the society. It offers under graduate courses under Utkal University. The department had got Utkal University affiliation in ________ as an honours subject. The mission of the department is to gather knowledge about educational concept, philosophy, history, psychology, technology, administration and management, values along with the current issues in Indian education system along with preparing the students interested for higher studies. Moreover, the department has been trying its best to attract the students to the occupation in teaching line and to be a skill and effective teacher. This department is very special in terms of teacher-taught relationship and always try to create environment of friend, philosopher, and guide between teachers and students of the college. The mission of the department is to provide students with a value-based, career-focused, and quality-based education while enabling them to engage competently and effectively in their personal and social lives through a rigorous curriculum. Besides the department always works towards nurturing the young minds to explore various paths in entrepreneurship, employment and to be self-dependent to serve the society and to be a successful human being. It develops the individual student like a flower which distributes its fragrance all over the environment. EDUCATION can not be regarded as a subject rather a discipline.
